How to get Clear Skin

  1. Eat Healthy

    You are what you eat. Your skin is a reflection of what you put in your body. So avoid processed and fried foods as much as possible, and limit added sugars. Eat plenty of colorful fruits, vegetables, and healthy fats to get clear skin.

  2. Drink Lots of Water

    Drinking water helps your body flush out the toxins, and keeps your skin clear and hydrated. Drink water throughout the day to stay hydrated.

  3. Get Enough Sleep

    Your body repairs itself when you sleep, so make sure you are getting the recommended 7-9 hours of sleep every night.

  4. Cleanse Well

    Wash your face with a mild cleanser twice a day. Refrain from over-washing as it can dry out your skin and cause irritation. Remove all make-up and sunscreen before going to sleep.

  5. Moisturize

    Use a non-comedogenic moisturizer after cleansing to keep your skin moisturized.

  6. Exfoliate

    Use a gentle exfoliator twice a week to remove dead skin. refrain from over-exfoliating as it can irritate your skin and cause more breakouts.

  7. Protect Your Skin from the Sun

    Wear sunscreen, and reapply it throughout the day. being in the sun for extended periods of time without protection can cause sun spots, sun burn, pre-mature wrinkles, and may darken acne scars.

  8. Keep Your Hair Clean

    Oils from your hair and hair products can cause acne, so keep your hair clean.

  9. Use Non-comedogenic products and cosmetics

    Use make-up sparingly to prevent irritating your skin, and use non-comedogenic products whenever possible. Non-comedogenic products don’t clog your pores and thus prevent break outs.

  10. Avoid Touching Your Face

    Touching your face transfers oils and bacteria from your hands to your face. Avoid touching your face as much as possible, and don’t pick at blemishes as it can cause scarring.

  11. Sweat it Out

    Exercise improves blood circulation and sweating helps to get rid of toxins. Go for a walk, hit the gym, or dance. Try to get some physical activity in your day, most days of the week.
